  • Usage is based on the number of events that the Streamdal platform processes, per feature and the amount of data that is stored per month.
  • Most features use "per 10K events" or "per 1K events" pricing.
  • Storage-related features use "per 1GB" pricing.

• Collection (per 10K events)

  • A collection is a logical grouping of your data.

• Ingestion (per 10K events)

  • Any data that is ingested by a Streamdal collector (via relays or using the HTTP or gRPC API).
  • Ingestion includes automatic schema inference, schema evolution, data sanitization and normalization.

• Long term storage (LTS)

  • After data is ingested, cleaned and sanitized, Streamdal will write the data to an S3 bucket in an optimized, parquet format that can be used with Athena, Snowflake and various other data-engineering tools.

• Functions (per 10K calls)

  • Functions enable you to create pipeline-like workflows for:
  • Modifying ingested data
  • Modifying replayed data
  • Performing custom monitoring jobs
  • Fixing data issues in dead-letter

• Monitoring & Alerting (per 10K events)

  • Setup monitoring rules for the contents of your event data
  • PII or anomalies
  • Detect stream rate changes
  • Detect schema changes
  • Detect events reaching dead letter
  • Alert via Slack, Pagerduty or email

• Retention (days of search retention per 10K events)

  • By default, once data is ingested, it can be searched for 7 days; this can be increased per collection in the collection settings.
